Is it smart to focus vice for outlaw

Post by w1nner-l0ser »

I played few games where I was outlaw. I am playing vs sheriff, vice and renegade. We are playing with High Noon expansion and High Noon is active. Sheriff is low hp but I can not shoot them because of distance I can only shoot vice who is high hp or discard bang.

Now the question is: Is it smart to shoot vice or is it better to discard bang? Because after I die if rene will not kill vice before sheriff lose their last hp on High Noon outlaws can win.

Nice thought. Not shooting vice also puts more pressure on renegade to not target you.

It's an interesting strategy to be vague on your role if you can't shoot your target. Hopefully being passive will get you in a situation where you can kill one of the helpers when it's time. Or take it so far where all players are unsure of vice Ren and outlaw. In that situation you maybe be able to pull off a last man standing with sheriff

In situation sheriff, vice, rene, 1 outlaw. If sheriff full hp and you cant kill him by yourself. Ofcourse its better to help rene kill vice.
Because if vice and sheriff will target rene, you will go in situation 2v1 against them and almost no chance to win.
But if you help rene to kill vice, you will have better chances to win (33%), sheriff vs rene vs outlaw.

A lot of people dont understand a simple thing about points system. In game you lose and win points from others.
If even rene gonna win -- 5 players will lose and give points, so you will lose the least points.
If sheriff team wins -- 4 players lose points (3 outlaws and rene).
If outlaws team wins -- 3 players lose points (sheriff, vice, rene).

So basically, losing to rene is not much a thing for outlaws and for sheriff either.

For Rene, are 3 main scenarios: Win > lose to sheriff team > lose to outlaw team. So if you are rene and cant win a game, is better to help sheriff win and lose LESS POINTS
