Why does it just abruptly end?

Why does it just abruptly end? Shouldn't the round finish and the 2nd player go if the starting player ended it? Especially in ranked, the first player usually wins.

You are right. A system with games once starting and once being second like in Lucky Numbers would make sense

It is similar to KOT. If a monster is out they are out. They do not continue the round.
