Never play a scenario??

Post by RICH41 »

How come some of the scenarios I marked as "never want to play" sometimes come up anyhow? It's frustrating to agree to play a game only to see it be one I do not want to play and am not stuck with it. Rich41

You have no influence on the scenario selection for Arena. If you never want to play those, stick to Play mode.

Because it is used in Play mode matching.

You can ask your opponent if they would like to abandon the match.
This can be useful when the scenario is one you don't like or want to play.

A reasonable opponent will generally agree to the request.

When you select "Play Now" at the top, you get a big button that says either "Simple Mode", "Arena" or "Tournament".
The "Simple Mode" is what I meant when I said "Play mode".
You can then select whether you want to play with Friends, pick someone manually, or automatic matching.
Then you can select Memoir, and create your own table, where you can do all the kinds of settings that you would prefer, like Breakout, campaign mode, or select a specific scenario.
