For the last few days I’ve been experiencing a bug that makes the game effectively unplayable for me. During my turns I cannot attack other players and I also cannot place cities on the board.
When I try either action, the system shows a red error message/banner (so it’s not just that nothing happens — the action fails with an explicit error).
I have already reported this using the built-in Bug Report tool on BGA, but the issue is still happening.
Impact / current workaround
My games are not technically “locked,” but I can’t play properly. For now, I asked my opponents if we could collectively abandon the games to stop wasting time, but I haven’t received any response yet.
What happens
Attacking other players → red error message appears, action fails
Placing cities on the board → red error message appears, action fails
Since when: for several days
Platform: BGA (web/android app)
Browser/OS: Windows/Android
Tried so far: refresh, log out/in, clear cache, different browser/incognito (no change)
Could the team please confirm whether this is a known issue, and if so whether a fix is planned and what the expected timeframe (ETA) is? I can share a game link, screenshots of the error message, or any other info you need.
