The games here last much longer than in face to face games. More people will want to play out a lost position rather than concede, which is customary.
What happens is that near the end of the game, if one player rolls big doubles, the opponent will often concede while the move is in progress. This causes the Game Over message to display on top of the board. I find this very jarring and unsportsmanlike. Certainly, we do not want to discourage conceding, but I would like to allow a player to concede only on the player's turn.
There is no reason to concede on your opponent's turn. If they are stalling, you should let the timer run out and then Expel.
