Player name and points at top of screen way too big on mobiles

Yesterday new sizing of the game header was introduced where points, names and game pieces appear super big on a mobile.

It uses too much screen space on a mobile and I find it distracting when I am in play that I now have to scroll down to avoid looking at it. Could it revert back to the size it was before and for those that like the new font size to give them an option to change it ie the new big font size option should be an opt-in not the default

Can you tell on which games it feels too big? Is there a lot of information in the player panel of these games?

I play Sagani and Nova Luna regularly. There is not much in the player area except for name and points. It now takes up a quarter of the screen at the top. When we select a piece from the shared area in Sagani the piece image is huge.

I prefer the old format

The new size seems to be for people who have sight issues - like it’s for people who use large text on their phones

It should be noted that in some games there’s a lot of info going on in the player panels, but there’s no reason it couldn’t be sized accordingly for each game.

I would agree with that - it’s made my BGA experience using mobile very clunky as I have to scroll up and down a lot more than before. With games where there is a lot of info I’ll play on iPad or PC - but I prefer playing mobile friendly games

Same issue for me.
I play a lot 7 wonders duel and St Petersbourg on mobile and now the game are very small on screen since 2 or 4 days...
I have to zoom on board game in order to see cost on 7 wonders duel cards...
Ther are a lot of empty space on left and right of the game area.
I have a Xiaomi 14.

I also am having issues. It limits the game play vision area. I play alot of Solsits and Artichokes, Glass works, etc.
All mobile.
