Penalty for quitting??

Several times recently I been penalized for quitting in both MEM 44, Ticket to Ride and Texas Holdem after some else was expelled or I lost all my money. I seem to be quitting incorrectly even though it says I may quit with no penalty. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a special way to quit after it says "OK TO QUIT"? The last few times I have been double penalized 20 points!!! Thanks

I don't know how the option to allow you to leave Holdem is implemented, but I wouldn't trust anything about that game. It has serious open bugs (e.g., not recognizing that a straight flush ranks higher than a full house) and should never have been released out of alpha, let alone beta.

You have two games of Texas Hold'em and two of Memoir '44 where you ran out of time and your opponent skipped you (all within the last 10 days). The oldest game of Memoir '44 where you were skipped, you didn't even play any moves, so possibly something went wrong with your connection to that game. It happens occasionally, but you can recoup the penalty points by completing games without running over time. Maybe stick to some shorter games to try and get your reputation back up before going for longer games again. And be aware that sometimes with BGA, if it looks like another player isn't playing, I would refresh your table, as it can just be that your connection to BGA has been lost and the game has gone on without you. In these cases, players are often kicked without realising the game was actually waiting on them - it's annoyingly just a thing that happens, but you just need to be paying attention and refresh to make sure it really isn't your go when the game seems to stall out like that.

I can tell you've had 4 quits in the last 60 days, and yes, they all seem to be within the last 10 days. Maybe you were better at using your time before this, maybe your opponents were more lenient, there could be a whole host of reasons why now. Only you understand why you didn't play to time. The issue I mentioned where the game seems to stall on another player's turn but if you refresh you find it's actually your turn and if you don't refresh you get booted - that's not a new issue. I first got hit by that at least a couple of years ago (and seldom since, but then, I rarely play real-time games either).

Your profile notes your quits and time penalties for the last 60 days under the reputation percentage bar. Then I have to look at your game history and see which ones have you on zero and your opponent(s) on 1. I think some were concessions, but the others are the games I mentioned. Of course, it depends if you're willing to scroll back through your history (and I wouldn't have been prepared to go back 60 days worth to find them, luckily I didn't have to).
