Advice based on my experience

I trained by playing alone, to avoid running out of energy you have to exploit the trees and then you can also recover energy by using the token, the lion or the lioness can be A problem only if you can't manage the tiles well. Among the tokens there is also the option to rotate the tile and it can be used both to build the savannah and to rotate the elephants, always There's also the possibility of recovering elephants in the tokens, but if you use the trees and waterholes well, you won't need much. Of course, you also need luck, but a good Strategy solves most problems... I had to play about ten games before I understood all this, but it was worth it to understand how the game works. Playing with other players I think it could be a problem if there is not good communication (since you can't see the ally's cards) however I don't think it would be bad, I hope to try it and maybe someone will find it may find inspiration and desire to try playing this game

It's only 2 games, solo and on the introductory setup, but both games I never really came close to losing and I didn't use a single support token in either play. I wonder if regular solo games are too easy? Or rather, if the game just 'needs' the disruption of teammates who need to communicate effectively.

Haven’t played enough to really answer that, but I just won on the first regular track in easy deck mode with events in my first attempt at that setup, using all of my tokens. Your setup is easy in three different respects: not a regular track, no events (which can be positive but also negative, so you have to mitigate bad luck even more), easy deck. Mine is a bit more difficult but still far from being on what the designers see as medium difficulty. So I think it’s fair to say that regular solo games probably aren’t too easy, at least not for me.

In real life, it might be easier with four players, as you can easily communicate about everything. On BGA, one tends to communicate less. If you don’t communicate at all, I’m not sure if you can even win the first scenarios. Had a game where nobody reacted
to my attempts at communicating, we lost the introductory setup with more than 2/3 to go. Communicating only about the most important things makes it easier, but I think still more difficult than solo. But absolutely playable. There’s a suggestion for adding a better chat interface which another game apparently has, that would be nice.

That’s a first impression after 5 solo games or so and 3 regular games.
