Did your race have qualification? If yes, qualifying acts as a tie-breaker for players that DNFed. Rules state: "In this adaptation, points are awarded for race completion and for Qualifying (if enabled). The Qualifying points are minor by comparison and serve as a tie-break if two players are both eliminated and score 0 in the race."kaladorn wrote: ↑16 March 2026, 20:21 In a game 5 of us ran lately, we had both of us getting wiped out.
He led longer and died at a higher position, but his car crashed out before the end of the first lap. I died in the middle of the pack (probably didn't get any more than 4th position) but I crashed out on 3rd lap.
The game rewarded my friend and he got a higher (DNF) position compared to mine.
We both thought that was perhaps non-obvious why that would be the way it would come out that way. It seemed to both of us that whoever got more laps before crashing out (or if on the same lap, whoever got further) should be the result.
Thoughts? Is there a logic to what we saw and if so, what is it that way?
