Rigged game

Post by Gasteland »

Some games, like Explorers, are clearly rigged. Another one is Flip7. Some deals are impossible from a probability standpoint. You already know which card is going to be dealt beforehand just by looking at the sequence

And yet, somehow people only seem to know after it's been dealt. Funny how that works, isn't it? Almost like people saying they know what the next card will be are making it all up. :D

If you are able to predict it, you should be the winningest player on the site then, yeah?

There is no game called Explorers on this site. There are two different games with the word “Explorers” in their titles, and you’ve never played either of them, so I don’t know how you would know they are “rigged”.

Same goes for Flip7—you’ve played it a grand total of one time. But you can predict which card comes next?

What’s your basis for these complaints? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

He has played Lost Cities a lot, and it's known as Exploradores in Spanish.

Thank you for that; I’d missed the language difference and did not know that translations. So that makes sense. Of course, how is it rigged? They don’t say…

I suppose a lot is a relative term. 17 games is probably just an active day for some people. While the actual fact it was a translation was news to me, I figured it would be something like that on the merits of it being their most active game, nothing else seems reasonable, not that their post made much sense to begin with.

If you know which card comes next, you should be able to plan around that, right?
