SFTP password not working for Studio account

Post by cabecao13 »

Hello,

My Studio SFTP credentials (user: alecaraul) are not accepted.
Password is 32 characters from welcome email.
SSH reaches server but returns "Permission denied".

Could you please reset SFTP credentials for this account?

Thanks.

Yes, I am connecting to:

1.studio.boardgamearena.com
port 2022

I reach the server successfully and get a password prompt.
However, after entering the 32-character SFTP password from the welcome email, I receive:

Permission denied, please try again.

Verbose SSH output shows:

Authentications that can continue: password,publickey,keyboard-interactive

It appears the SFTP password may not match the server record.
Could you please reset or verify the SFTP credentials for user alecaraul?

After a long hiatus from development on BGA, I am trying to get my dev environment working again. I am getting the same sort of credentialing problems as the original poster. I have reset my studio password, and uploaded an SSH key that seems to be getting rejected in the SFTP credential exchanges. (I say "seems to be" because ssh -v says the key is offered but does not give status on acceptance other than (as with the OP) continuing on to password verification, which also fails.

I am trying to use FileZilla on Ubuntu, but have also made attempts with commandline SFTP.
