Can Grub kill a danger card?

One of Grub's skills is "Immediately escapes all Danger! cards". If Grub has a weapon equipped, can Grub kill the danger (and receive meat) but not take any damage? Or does "escape" mean that Grub will never kill a danger card? And if so, then why would Grub ever equip a weapon at all?

I think it means he can't kill. Holding a weapon can protect him from that one night card where boars attack, but that's basically it.

The BGA implementation is that Grub never encounters Danger by escaping meaning any weapon on him is irrelevant. He does grab a Fiber when Gathering even if a Danger card is drawn from which he escapes without killing or taking meat from the animal. One bug I've noticed is that if Grub has a weapon equipped and Nanuk is in the party Grub can get FKP as if he HAD killed the Danger card, fun hack.

Yes, I noticed that too; it's what prompted me to start this thread. I was going to file a bug report after the game I was in ended, but I got sidetracked.
