The most pointless click in BGA: the person I invited is getting an email if they're offline.

PLEASE give us a means of being able to say that we no longer need the pointless confirmation click that we know the person we're inviting to a game is offline, and that they're going to get an email. This is easily the dumbest click that I do every single day. I'm well aware that inviting my friends that are offline means they're going to get an email. Why do I have to confirm that every single time?

A simple click to allow me to dismiss this silly confirmation every single time would solve this problem instantly. Or just do away with this dumb confirmation window anyway, since people understand things.

As for me, I uncheck that box because for games with friends, we typically pre-agree on the game via whatsapp and they don't need an email that is going to clog their inbox.

This suggestion only makes sense if it’s asking for an option in the preferences to choose between these three alternatives:

Always ask
Always send mail
Never send mail

OP, should you decide to do a proper suggestion (see the link provided in the first answer), post the link here and I’ll upvote it although I think it’s only a small improvement. Always sending a mail might make sense to you, but it’s nonsense to me, so there should be a choice.

Because it’s not a confirmation, it’s a choice. It’s asking whether you want to send those friends an email. I never do—they’ll be on BGA soon enough and see the game invite then. Why would I want to clutter their email?

Maybe, as FDHenneberg suggests, it could be an “always/never/ask” preference, but I would hate to turn into simply “always” with no choice in the matter.
