What's the end game trigger?

What's the end game condition for this game? I understand it has something to do with the time crystals running out but I don't understand exactly how the time crystals are dispersed.

Are the crystals that control the end game condition the same crystals that we collect? Every time I've tried to keep track of them it seems like the numbers don't add up right for that to be the case. But they also obviously get dispersed at a rate faster than 1/turn.

I've flipped through the rules a few times and I can't find a section where the time crystal/game end mechanism is explained clearly.

Hi! I haven't read the rules in a while, but I think I might be helpful.

The time crystals you pick up when placing tokens on the time control are sort of the same as those that finish the game. Depending on how many cryistals you pick on your turn with your placing, how many spaces does the crystal on the upper left of your board avances, once it gets to six yo slide your marker crystal token towards the right, gain the points it says depending on how many you have placed, and then you take on of the crystals on the shared board to place on the zero of your own board's crystal area, and that's when the number of crystals on the shared board decreases

So, the game ends after the round in which one of the finishing conditions is fulfilled, so, the conditions might have already been met, but the game won't end until the last turn of the round is completed (note that in over two player games, the first player gets switched every round so pay attention to who is the last player once the condition is met).

The conditions for the game ending are:

• No Time Crystal Tokens left (but you can have extra to place on your slot after there's none left).
  All the Goal Cards have been competed.
