In a poker game (as in many other games in BGA), if a player needs to step away for a few minutes (like going to the bathroom or dealing with a Wi-Fi issue) they are often expelled from the game and the game will even be cancelled.
Fortunately, in Poker Texas Hold'em we have the “Check automatically” and “Call automatically” options, which are really helpful if one needs to leave the game briefly.
However, there’s a big limitation: if something unexpected occurs (for example, a sudden Wi-Fi problem), the player might not be able to enable those check/call options before being disconnected/afk.
It would be great if there was a configurable Away mode. For example, to be able to decide between:
- If I take no action for 1 minute, automatically check/call all the next plays
- If I take no action for 1 minute, automatically fold all the next plays
The idea is that when the system detects that the player is Away, all their next actions would be automatically handled (check/call or fold) until they return and click an 'I'm back' button (or disable the setting, or something like that).
This would make games much smoother for everyone, preventing unnecessary cancellations while still respecting the flow of the game.
