Game Mode: Fast

I would like the time on Game Mode: Fast to be reduced to 1 minute. OR make a faster game mode option with a 1 minute clock.

Agricola and chess have many similarities. Studying the board to find the best move instead of settling for a good move which may not be the best is part of Agricola and Chess. Chess is played differently when decisions are quicker. I would love to see what Agricola could look like with a shorter shot clock.

I LOVE the change they just made during draft. Why? Because it speeds up the game. Allowing shorter games would be GREAT for the community and people would play more games and be able to play games when they had less time to commit to a game.

I can't even find players for fast paced games with the current settings. I don't think this would work out if the turn time was decreased further.

The vast majority of real-time games I can find are with normal speed. I even tried to set-up a new table with fast speed, but it only attracted players with very bad reputation ....

When I am queuing for games in Arena I have flexibility on the game timer. So if another speed setting were to be added it would have 0 impact on how fast I'm able to find games. I agree that adding another setting would be the 2nd best option. The best option would be to decrease the current timers as they are too long.

You're using a very small sample size here. I would imagine that there isn't a correlation and if there was I would bet that it would be the other way around.

Upon further play my opinion has changed. I no longer think the clock of 3 minutes, 4 minutes, and 6 minutes should be changed based on the game modes of fast, normal, and slow, respectively.

My opinion is that the time given after each decision should be reduced.

On normal mode in Arena it's not uncommon to have a player think for 40 minutes total. And players get annoyed and red thumb the player. I'm not one to point fingers and blame the player. I blame the settings. If we want to see change we should express our opinions and hope that enough people join us so changes can be made. We SHOULDN'T criticize and red thumb players. Don't hate the player hate the game

I'd like a "blitz" setting too. Perhaps it should be turned off by default in the players' settings though.

I like that idea! I hope this idea catches on because I would love to be able to play a fast game of Agricola one day

I'd also enjoy a Blitz mode for Agricola!

The game is usually 20 min/player for me now. That is like 30 seconds/action-choice

20/min player is pretty solid. I've been in games where one player is above 40 minutes and the games seems to drag on forever.

It would be cool to experience a game where everyone was sub 10 min

Fast speed is way too slow. Should be 90 secs max.
