Does anyone know how to remove notifications from your overview of past games?

Could you be more specific? What do the notifications look like and where do they appear?

A screen shot might help.

under your name where it says you are online, open the exclamation mark and you will see the entire series of past games and tournaments

That tab is notifications; that’s what the exclamation point in a circle usually indicates (not just here but on many sites). If you just want to see your past games, open your profile (where it says “View my profile” just above where it says that you are online), and then click where it says “15962 games played”. For what I think is a much better listing, from the page click on “arkitsa’s games history” on the right side near the top. That display is filterable by game, opponent, date, etc.

And if that’s not what you’re looking for, you are going to have to be really specific because I don’t know what you are looking for.

What about these notifications is so bothersome that you want to remove them?

Can't you just not look at them?

I think they are under the misapprehension that that listing is a list of past games and they are annoyed by other “notifications” like trophies and friend requests showing up in the list. That, at least, was why I provided another (and better) way of seeing past games.

But like I said, this whole thread has been something of a guessing game because they’re not saying what it is, exactly, that they want; we’re just getting the equivalent of “that thing over there annoys me, make it stop” without any indication of what “that thing” is.

I’m also mystified why we are doing this in the backgammon forum…

There is an exclamation mark under your name. Open this, and at the bottom is the mention "view all notifications". If you open that, you go back several months in the notification overview. I think this is a useless burden on the memory.
doesn't really bother but useless

So it’s still really unclear what you are asking for.

I think arkitsa wants to clear this notification list? Attached mine. Nobody else can see this, if that's what you're worried about? To answer your question though, you can't clear it

*Edit I can't attach screenshot since BGA's file size limit is literally 1KB apparently...lol.

(It wasn’t bolded originally; that’s my emphasis.) And I still don’t understand what they want things to look like when they’ve done whatever it is they would like to do.

So let’s start there: Arkitsa, if you could do whatever it is you are asking about, what would things look like when it’s done?
