End game recover dice

In the end game my understanding was that you get a recover dice step between rounds. I kill things, they are defeated, dice are exhausted. Recover dice and start a second round. This wasn't letting me recover dice. Do I just have that rule wrong?

Do you mean during a single game? During a game, each round there is a strategy phase where you commit dice and then roll and apply the dice. Then you have your resolve phase during which all committed dice are exhausted and then you recover dice equal to you Recovery stat die. Does that help at all?

It might help if you provided a table number and move number so we could see what you saw during the game.

You're definitely doing the right thing by asking here first. Many bugs are reported when people simply overlook an active effect that prevents the normal process from occurring. In such cases, sometimes the log helps in describing what occurred. The log can be really helpful.

When you were fighting with Boss there was one enemy with "After effect" skipping Recover Dice step.
