You killed the arena mode

For those of you not familiar with BGA Arena mode: Each season, BGA appoints Game Gurus to oversee the setup of Arena Mode: These frequent players have the opportunity to vote on an existing setup or propose a new one before the end of an Arena season. However, only their votes matter.

At the start of the Arena season, BGA will then implement the format that received the most votes from the Game Gurus.

If the current format proves not to be ideal, you have the opportunity to become a Game Guru yourself, suggest and vote for your preferred variant.
Your vote can make a change.

I see this as a pretty global game whether it be 2 or 3 players or however many turn based will always be faster to get games. You can play multiple at same time and often players play it like real time if you are both online at same time. I would just recommend turn based if you desire more games. Its not the settings fault with this style of short game. 3 players also adds an extra dynamic of planning.

The game guru system is somewhat flawed as to become a guru you have to play dozens of games with a setup you hate just for the chance to cast one vote for a format you like to ... maybe ... win next time

I am a Game Guru and I voted AGAINST the 3 player idea for exactly this reason. So far had zero real time games on Ghosts this season so I guess I won't be a guru for long. Turn based is really boring for this game because it's such a quick play.
