arena mode

I have been playing this game for quite a while now and was wondering why they changed the people for arena mode from 3 to 5. This will make it practically impossible to get into a game because of matchmaking. I know playing with 5 people is more fair than with 3 people. I played around 50 matches last season and the average matchmaking was about 30 min but now you will probably have to sit a couple of hours in matchmaking. Could someone please explain this choice?

Yeah I agree with you that the format should have stayed at 3 players. I don't know why it was changed when so many more games were played. If there were more arena players for Saboteur, then 5 players is certainly better. However, since that is not the case, 3 players is best option for this game.

I for one did not find saboteur with 3 players interesting. It’s either the one sab gets destroyed or everyone works together to get one pt. It’s all about luck of not getting sab and getting more gold than the rest, not skill

Every season “gurus” have the option to propose a new season rules. I proposed back to playing with 5 and also saboteur 2 for this season. Back to 5 had more votes

That being said, I’d like to create a group with active arena players to try to get more real time games going
