Did you know that Diplodocus lived and died out long before Tyrannosaurus even existed at all? Diplodocus lived in North America during the Late Jurassic (150 million years ago), while Tyrannosaurus, on the other hand, lived in North America during the Late Cretaceous period (68–66 myr ago).

This game could easily be more scientifically correct if Diplodocus was replaced with Edmontosaurus, or T-Rex with Allosaurus. And it would be more interesting to learn the names of a couple of other dino species.

67 million years ago, Tyrannosaurus probably ate Edmontosaurus:

Following the renaming of Crichton's novel Dino Park into the far less accurate Jurassic Park. Although I'm not a book worm, I recommend the original novel over everything after the first movie. Especially the "World" stuff. But great book and great (first) movie.
