This game brings out the worst in some people.

I really like the game. But in no other game are as many toxic people as in this game. People are constantly insulted or called stupid. Some make beginner's mistakes, but we were all beginners. And others want to signal something and it's right, but because some don't understand it immediately, they insult others as brainless. Although in the end it comes out that they acted correctly. That's a huge problem in this game, which spoils the fun a lot. Some are downright bullied and told they get red thumbs for making a mistake. It's bad.

Sad to hear, that it is possibly bad on BGA.

There is an option for not allowing eg newbies to join a game. If you dont use it you have to expect low experienced players to join your game.

But people should at least know the rules (of the difficulty level).

In just every cooperative you have that problem. Some more, some less.

I think because were human you cannot expect 0. But the Level of disrespect is just way to high in these actually wonderful games

It would be possible if there was an elo system on place for the game but there is not one at present.

Nope, thats basically not possible.
Apprentices have 1 game absolved, must not even be a win.
Average players need 100 wins.

There is nothing inbetween. There is currently no good possibility to cut out newbies without cutting out 95% of the playerbase (if not more).

Same. i've never given so many red thumbs on any game ever , not by a long shot and I've played various cooperative games on the platform. i feel there is a screen missing at the beginning of the game like: "discuss to agree on conventions" and then in between rounds "debrief" so you get to know why people did x , y, z and adjust your strategy. But right now you have A LOT of aggressive players, zero communication in between rounds, just people getting angry and it's not fun at all and like throwing darts in the dark really. Even you get a win people don't congratulate each other . this is supposed to be cooperative! And irl I love this game : /

Same. I rarely gave red thumbs, but in this game it’s so often, because I don’t want to play with rude people or people who kick people out for taking too long to think, change chips and so on
