Note that the way scoring is explained in the episode guide, we should get +4 points for "4 different buildings adjacent to a well," whilst we should get +3 points for "3 different building types adjacent to each church." HOWEVER, if a certain church is adjacent to a striped building, and black building, and a different church, apparently that DOESN'T count as "touching 3 different building types." But wait, a church next to a well DOES count as a "building?" I just read the rules, and it states that a church needs to be adjacent to "all three building types." So apparently that doesn't count churches. But then maybe we need some sort of clarification specific to wells?
2. We also see that we get +? for "number of buildings in largest group of each building type." But this doesn't apply to churches... I'm assuming that this is because of the actual rules of the game. However, this ALSO tells us that churches don't count as a "building type," since we don't get points for groups of them. On the other hand, apparently churches can be one of the "3 different building types" adjacent to a church in order to score +3 points, and they can also function as one of the four buildings that can surround a well for +4 points? That makes no sense, as written.
This is my first time playing, but apparently the rules ACTUALLY are:
A. +? points for the number of buildings in the largest group of each of striped, black, and crossed buildings.
B. + 4 points for each well adjacent to four different buildings OR CHURCHES. Or perhaps other buildings in future episodes? I don't know if they exist.
C. +3 points for each church adjacent to each of the striped, black and crossed buildings.
Better wording would be GREATLY appreciated, especially for those of us who were told by the Tutorial that we "just" needed to follow along with the new instructions each episode.
