Feast Hall Scoring Glitch?

Post by CrovendianKing »

I just played a 2-player game with the green building "Feast Hall", which reads "2 points. +1 point if you have more feast halls than the player on your right." At the end of the game, I had two feast halls and my opponent had zero, yet it only awarded me 4 points for the green buildings. Shouldn't I have earned 6 (3 points each, since I had more than my opponent)? Am I misunderstanding that card?

For reference, table number was: Tiny Towns n°861550933

Thanks to anyone who can help clarify or validate the situation for me.

It's a common misunderstanding. Look down at the scoresheet to where it has the comparison bonus because you're asking about a comparison, i.e., how much you have compared to your opponent.

In order to free players up to pursue other games once they've finished, the game automatically scores your town as soon as you're done, even while other players are still going. Obviously, there's no way to definitively know how many of something your opponents will end up with, so that isn't calculated until the game is truly and completely done. At that point, all players can return to the table and see what the final scores were. The bottom line of the scoresheet will add in the comparison points.
