Why is the production phase in asynchronous steps?

Post by nochnheld »

Accidentally started a match in turn-based mode and it is really dragging on. It makes sense during draft, that you wait for the other players to select their cards. However, the production phase after sees zero player interaction and could be done in a single turn. I aknowledge, that players might modify their decisions based on what other players have out in individual phases but its a risk I'd be willing to take shave a few minutes or days in my current match..

I think it is because of the rewards that you get when producing the most of a particular ressource.
The majorities in each production step might change during the round (because of builds during previous steps).
