2026 will mark Carnage's 29th year of tabletop gaming in the beautiful state of Vermont in the United States
When: October 16-18, 2026 - tail end of leaf peeping season!
Where: Killington Grand Resort, Killington, Vermont, USA
What: Carnage 29: There is No Place Like Carnage
Carnage isn't just a tabletop gaming convention, it is a weekend getaway. This convention is relatively small, with about 800 attendees and the focus is on gaming. Carnage uses Tabletop Events for convention organizing and offers scheduled gaming for board games, RPGs, miniatures, card games, tournaments, and more (LARPs if we can find folks willing to run them). In addition to scheduled gaming, there is a decent amount of open board gaming as well.
Carnage is hosted at the Killington Grand Resort where the location provides more than just gaming. The resort itself has a gorgeous pool and hot tub, sauna, steam room, and spa services. They also offer numerous hiking and mountain biking trails, with bike rentals, if needed. In the local area, all within a half hour drive are two state parks, a national park, a nature science center, Quechee Gorge scenic site, and numerous hiking trails.
The location of Carnage makes it perfect for the family to join, even the non-gaming family members. For lodging, there are numerous options all within a very short distance to the resort, including many condos to rent, rented through 3rd party rental services. On site lodging in the Killington Grand offers suites with full-sized kitchens. The onsite lodging does sell out, but keep checking back as people will cancel from time to time.
The schedule is starting to populate and will continue to fill as GMs submit the games they wish to run. If you wish to run some games, it could get you a free admission badge. GMs have until August 16 at noon to submit games.
Admission badges are currently available for sale at pre-convention rates. Game sign-ups (ticket 'sales' - 99.9% of the event tickets are free) begin August 23 at noon.
Gaming, relaxation, and fun! What more can you ask for?
