Reload page for undo

Anyone else have the issue that they need to reload the page to be able to undo an action? I remember that about a yeat ago this was not necessary. Is this a settings thing or a bug?

It's been a bug since last year, something they did triggered it since it worked before. Here's the bug report if you want to upvote it:
