Time to think cannot accumulate more than initial time

Post by reswantur »

I'm a player of Seasons and I usually set the time limit as "Slow" for more time to think.
I know many players want to play fast games, so I don't join games which set time limit as "Fast".

However, after system changes, I (and my friends) notice that it's easy to run out of time even when there is time left at the end of the game.
Actually, my total playing time is lower than before.
Then, I find that time to think cannot accumulate more than 5 minutes (initial time) now.

I don't need a lot of time at each turn, but only when I perform some complicated moves (ex. playing a combo with more than 9 cards).
If you limit the maximum time to think as initial time at each turn, the "Slow" speed is not slow now, because the initial time is the same in all settings (Fast/Normal/Slow).
I think it's fair to use accumulated time at some important moves, so you may consider to set different initial time at different settings (ex. Fast: 5 minutes; Normal: 10 minutes; Slow: 15 minutes).

Hope the change can improve game experience (for those who doesn't run out of time on purpose).
