How to leave a broken game?

Hello,

I'm playing a game of Through the Ages and there is a fault in the dealing of military cards at the end of my turns. In my first two turns I had 2 military actions left but received no cards and on my 3rd turn, I had 1 military action left and didn't receive any cards.

How can I terminate this game without gaining a bad reputation? I have tried to ask my opponent to allow a draw as the mechanism is not working but they have not responded. They have definitely seen my messages as they have had several turns and I have tried several times to communicate with them. I have asked in the main chat and a couple of other players have had a look at my game agreed that it doesn't look right. But while my opponent is not responding, I'm forced to play the game within my turns and not receive military cards and there is no way to end it without getting a bad reputation!

I was the one who confirmed your game was not working correctly. I now realize that I was wrong. The reason why you aren't getting any military cards is because you aren't playing the "complete" version of the game. In the "simple" game the rules are significantly different than the "complete" version and there are no military cards. I completely forgot about that since I never play the simple game!

Don't forget that, in turn-based mode, one can easily miss messages posted in the chat (the only way to see them all would be to systematically replay the last moves before playing, and even this way I'm not 100% sure you'd see everything).
So it may well be that they did not see your messages at all, or that you did not see their answers.

Thank you for your replies. It was my fault as I didn't realise it was a simple game. I'm still confused about the rules though. It says that the starting player should reveal a bonus action card every round starting from the 3rd round after refilling the row. But that's not how it has been happening in our game.

Does anyone know exactly how it should work?
