Why did the game end?

Why did the game end?

I've played a couple games and it seems at some point it just arbitrarily stops giving us new cards when we play one and then the game ends when our hands run out of cards. This results in a short game which didn't give us enough time to score points. There were still lots of scoring and cat cards available.

Has anyone else experienced this?

There are 2 decks of cards. The regular numbers, that both draw from and play each turn, and the reward cards. The game ends when either deck runs out.

Sometimes, BGA have problem with showing how many cards left in the paw deck. If you refresh your browser, you will see the right amount of cards left.
