Looking for a developer to bring “Living Hell” to BGA

Post by Living Hell CG »

Hi everyone!

I'm the designer and publisher of Living Hell, a horror card game (LCG) that has recently been approved/licensed for implementation on Board Game Arena, and I'm looking for a developer who might be interested in bringing it to BGA.

We are a small independent publisher, and I can provide all the game assets and cards in digital format, in both English and Spanish.

I would also be directly involved throughout the development process. I'm happy to explain the rules in detail, answer any questions about card interactions or edge cases, and help extensively with testing and feedback.

One of the main reasons we're excited about bringing Living Hell to BGA is localization. We've had players asking for German and Italian editions, but as a small publisher, producing and printing physical editions in multiple languages isn't currently feasible for us. BGA seems like a great opportunity to make the game accessible to those players.

There is already a German video review in which the reviewer translates and explains all the cards in German. Those translations would need to be properly transcribed and reviewed, of course, but it could be a very useful starting point for a German localization:

As a small thank-you, I'm also happy to send a physical copy of Living Hell to anyone who meaningfully contributes to the BGA implementation, wherever we're able to ship directly. At the moment, I can offer this throughout Europe and the UK. Unfortunately, we don't currently have distribution in America or Asia.

So, in short, I can provide:

All graphical assets and cards (English & Spanish)
Full rules and direct access to the game's designer for any questions
Help with card interactions, edge cases, testing and feedback
A starting point for a German translation
A physical copy of Living Hell for contributors where shipping is available

If the game sounds interesting to you, I'd be very happy to talk about it and provide anything you need to evaluate the project.
