I was looking at the data under Player Profile and was trying to understand some of my metrics against the Winners’ Average column. It’s cool that this info is there, but it’s hard to make it useful. Because I’m an imperfect player, my stats are representative of a roughly 60/40 win-to-loss rate. My stats mix my wins and losses to present the full picture of my game history.
On the other hand, the Winners’ Average is made up of 100% of every won game. It makes me want to see the stats of all the Losing games as well. This in turn made me curious about dividing my wins and losses into two columns. This way, I could compare notes with the Winners’ Average more easily. I’m no statistician, but this makes sense to me.
I’ve never played on a gaming site with this much data, so KUDOS to the developers! It’s a completely new way to think about your games and to try to make sense of it all.
