I have noticed a trend lately where I keep getting smoked by players that have under 100 games played and an 80+% winrate and haven't played any other games on bga. I pride myself in generally being a fast learner when it comes to these kinds of games, so this has been humbling for me, but with how fast and effortlessly they play I'm skeptical that they have only played that many games. Has anyone else been having similar experiences and if so, do you think it's people making alternate accounts? I don't see an obvious reason to do so other than manipulation of the Elo bonus you get from your first few games. I also only seem to encounter these accounts for this game, and not other games.
PS, I'm not doing this to call out anyone. For the record, my games against these players have been very informative, and they remind me that there's a whole other level of strategy in this game.
