Game abandoned by other player I received reputation damage

Hi - I'm looking for advice as to whether the following is a bug or I've misunderstood something.

In game http://en.boardgamearena.com/#!table?table=14792835 I had a message pop up to tell me the other player had abandoned the game and either I could play solo or quit the game with no penalty. Rather than playing solo Takenoko I thought it made sense to quit. However, no it appears from my profile as this game has now been counted as one I have abadoned: http://en.boardgamearena.com/#!player?id=76117832.

I think this must be a bug. Should I report it as such?

As this has been a week since I posted and I have yet to receive a reply, I am posting in here again to see if someone might be able to assist.
