20th place prize?

I have a little question here:

I was in 18th place in pylos, and got the 20th place prize, you know, it gives you 1,500 trophies.
But, then I moved down to 39th place and yet I still have that prize and the same 1500 of trophies as before.
I am not complaining, I am just wondering why. :D

Trophies don't refresh faster...
