Server problems: admins tell us something.

Post by idum »

In this moment is quite impossible to play. Sure it isn't funny.

Timeout errors are too muck difficult to manage now. It is not a matter of an f5 or 2. All gaming is corrupted.

I don't know what is the reason of this bad and quick degrade of the game server. Sure 3-4 months ago was different.

Question is: admin knows the situation? Or actually game server is managed only from some voluntary that can modify something in a game, but the main structure is "abandoned"?

It's really boring: impossible to have pleasure in playing with constant bugs, to have a strategy with wrong informations on screen, or to lose points and win penalities because you can not control anything in a game.

I manage to quit BGA if this situation keeps going on :(

I'm as frustrated as you are so I asked an admin. They know about it and are currently doing their best to fix it.

Hi,

As you may have noticed, we manage to fix the issue temporarily on July 28th.

The problem got back on August 5th (with a maximum on August 12th).

Then we manage to set up an "almost permanent" fix. Since August 13th, there is very few errors of this type. As there hasn't been additional comments on this thread since August 12th it looks like we found the cause.

We are working on a last fix to clean the latest remaining "timeout" errors.

Thanks for your patience.
