It would be great to be able to make orders for the next turn, at least i some games. It would be nice to for instance record a script that will be executed on your next turn, as long as your actions from the script are possible. Another way could be conditional actions that can be stored for the next round or until the order is removed. "If someone selects builder, then build small market."
In turn based games, this can greatly increase the speed. Sometimes it also helps you to remember your strategy...
