Doing my first TrAiNiNg GaMe so I can continue to play with my friends with no time limit

Is there really no way to make a table, share a link in a discord to see if anyone wants to play, then start the game with less then the max player count? Between this and the "no more no time limit with friends unless it's training mode" BGA is quickly becoming a site I don't feel like us...

What an awful change that does nothing but hurt paying customers like me who play a ton of games with friends only no time limit. I'll never understand why companies think removing options for consumers/players is a good idea or "solution" to a problem nobody had or asked for.

If I host a turn based game with an open invite the game fills and we're off within a few hours at most. I also have a few consistent play groups made up of irl or discord friends where we're trying all kinds of random stuff on this site. BGA seems stronger then ever getting some pretty massive game...

Probably better to have them quit your table multiple times then join, start the game, and go "I don't want to play with these expansions can we abandon the table?".

What's the difference between casual and competitive mode?

Considering we have Bang the card game, I would love to see Bang the dice game added to BGA. The later is an excellent streamline of the system and would be great as an asynchronous turn based game on BGA.

Is there eventually a plan to change the name option to just something like "enable cultist expansion" in the the table set up? It's gonna be confusing down the road if we have to remember which battle of gods event (considering it's likely we'll get at least one more) is which expansion. ...
