It is easy however to write in chat while trying to write in your notes. If you end your turn at the wrong moment the prompt will change from notes to chat.

When you click the gear wheel under your name you can select 'always confirm' or 'never confirm' to not have the timer anymore.

The penguin that made the last move show its back. Can not see where it moved from afaik.

That is already available. Go to preferences under your name and it is the first TAB

Why the manual die roll? This was a nice fast game to play, but now it has dozens of unnecessary clicks added.

You count the splashes on the remaining cards (the small number in the lower right). The 1 has zero. The 12 has 5.
It could be made a bit more clear in the rules in my opinion.

Most likely the karma. The games you seem to play are all long. Long realtime games I definitely set karma restrictions.
