Re: Flip 7 and Premium Subscribers

Yeah. Red thumb, report them if you think they crossed the line into "misbehaviour" (not sure if that's defined anywhere), and move on. I think that's the most/best you can do.

Re: the *decreasing ELO gain if you win against the same players rule*

Agreed, it catches lots of games that should be counted as full Elo, certainly more than are dishonest. The question is whether the trade-off between slowing down cheaters easily is worth the corruption of Elo for honest games. I think there are good arguments on both sides. The OP did not (does not...

Re: the *decreasing ELO gain if you win against the same players rule*

It is so obvious to me, and Id say objectively there's so many disadvantages + unfair aspects of the rule, that Im wondering if some others who rejected it in here don't exactly see what is meant or if they really advocate for the rule (while actually presenting almost no reasons yet). (I'm sorry a...

Re: the *decreasing ELO gain if you win against the same players rule*

This is true of all games as much as it is for Gamme Logic, and is a reasonable objection that many people share (although I'm not sure where the 60% number comes from).

Re: the *decreasing ELO gain if you win against the same players rule*

The problem that the Elo reduction is solving is when someone wants to boost their Elo by repeatedly playing the same much-weaker player (possibly fixed, possibly not). This has nothing to do with interaction-levels in the game. There are good reasons to think that the cure is worse than disease, b...

Re: Add Mechanism: Deduction

Maybe they left it off because they thought people who liked those games would enjoy figuring it out themselves? :)

Re: Especially good player takes over arena for a particular game

I am in the position of "that player", or a slightly weaker version that's a bit like it is probably more accurate, for a couple of games (but not the one you're talking about, I think). I'm always open to chatting about tactics either during the game (in generalities, or at least after th...
