Re: Is the goal for BGA to have every rule functional?

There is no end goal. The game will continue to have some new features, new scenarios as long as the community keep playing and as long as devs are here. However, we have less "pressure" on things that can't be "flagged" in the editor because adding these features will be quite ...

Is the goal for BGA to have every rule functional?

I know devs are still working and I appreciate everything they're doing and the community helping but I guess I'm wondering where the finish line is? I realize there will always be strange stuff (like using landing craft to evacuate in Dunkirk, etc...) that can't be programmed but I'm wondering abou...

Re: Random dice rolling????

At the end of every game, take all your "hits" (infantry, armor and grenades) and divide it by the total number of dice rolled. It will always come out close to 66% like it should. Random number generators are very easy to program. It would take more effort to make the dice roll wrong tha...

Re: How to play "from the front" scenarios with special rules

Anything that can be flagged in the editor will work here, and you wont be able to flag anything more than that. So impassable moutain are in the editor and work here, but any special rules very specific to a given scenario like the one you gave is not flaggable in the editor and thus wont be playa...

How to play "from the front" scenarios with special rules

For exampple, I want to play Manado landings. It has night attack rules which are in the editor but then the specal rules say that once in full daylight, the Japanese player can do a paradrop. Paradrop is also in the editor but I don't think there's any way of translating the "after daylight&qu...

Question about loading M44 files

I understand how to load them up but I'm curious about elements of game play that haven't been coded and will not work. For example, if I try to load a scenario with command cars or some other "advanced" type of troop or terrain, will it work? IOW, what elements haven't been coded and shou...
