Re: Why have I been blacklisted from Castles of Burgundy?

Have you tried using the old lobby, where you can manually select a game to join or open a new table? I can see you play turn-based, you could create a new table with your set-up preferences and wait for others to join. If you are still unable to join/start a game, it might be a bug. It isn't possib...

Re: How does the "first game" extra time work?

Do you play turn based games? It's possible to start a turn based game as a beginner with 0 ELO and in the meantime complete a few real-time ones and gain ELO, but in the first game you would still be a 'first game extra-time' player. Or starting multiple turn based games and finishing some of them ...

Re: Waiting through commercials for non-premium play

I had a couple weeks between my premium memberships because of life. I had to watch 30 second ads that told me how important it was to become a member. They are BGA ads trying to convince me that I become premium. Are you saying you never ever see one of those? Not ever ever ever? I joined BGA over...

Re: Eliminating the "Friendly Robber" Rule

Try friendly mode? Can't lose ELO and it's hidden for all players. It should be possible to play without the friendly robber rule. I rarely play Catan anymore, but I find the friendly mode really nice if you just want to play a game, and not be competitive ( I play Wigspan and 4-player Castles of Bu...

Re: New mobile UI

I'm sure it'll be fixed soon. I appreciate all the work devs put into BGA. It is actually playable the way it is, I just got angry as I tapped a wrong tile accidentally in one game and didn't realise it until it was too late. Instead of a clever move I made a stupid and pointless one. I am now more ...

Re: New mobile UI

I used to play on zoom level 12 on mobile. I have now tried other zoom levels, but can't get the layout to look even close to what it was before... Everything is just too small.

Re: While playing on phone, the table view has suddenly changed

Castles of Burgundy still having issues on mobile. Everything appears very small, it's easy to tap the wrong tile and not notice.

Re: While playing on phone, the table view has suddenly changed

Sad to report that now Castles of Burgundy is showing scaling issues on mobile. Was working fine yesterday, so the change must have happened some time during the last 24 hours. Re: Turn based moves

How much time players get added to their time bank depends on the game speed setting. For normal turn based you divide 24 by the number of moves per day (4 moves per day: 24/4 = 6, so +6 hours after every move). To a maximum of 24h or 3 times the added time, whichever is higher. So for 4 moves per ...
