Re: Help finding "layout color/style" option

Click on “setup” near where your username is displayed on the game table page. All those options are there.

Re: Export game in sgf format

Cheating should not be a reason for disallowing export to .mat. In every analysis tool I use, you can easily, quickly recreate any position for analysis with just a few clicks. You don't need a .mat file to cheat.

Re: Export game in sgf format

I don't understand why the developers don't turn on the export option by default. It doesn't affect players who don't want to use it. The default off only makes it unavailable to players who do want to use it.

Re: Slightly sad about etiquette

Unfortunately this issue is rampant in online backgammon. You see it all the time on BG Galaxy—one of the most popular online bg platforms—to the point where Galaxy is working on a disciplinary measure for players who abuse the clock in this way. So the problem is not exclusive to BGA.

Doubling cube automatic unlock

The cube lock function is helpful for speeding up async games where there is no reason to double. I've found many players don't know about this feature. One thing I wonder about, though, is the behaviour of the automatic unlock. The cube stays locked for several turns sometimes. But sometimes it aut...

Re: Ability to download the match files in all types/modes of games

The feature is available ("export to .mat" in the game settings) but isn't on by default. I've already started a thread here to request it be turned on by default. Maybe add your voice to that thread: https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=40646

Re: Change to thew arena format.

New arena format is obviously superior to 1pt matches. Higher point matches would be even better. The arena should be a place to test skill, not a place to see who has greater luck with the dice. This fact is borne out by the fact that international tournaments are played with the doubling cube with...

Re: Make "export to .mat" a default setting

Under settings in-game you can click "export to .mat" and it spits out a txt file which can be saved as .mat ; not perfect but it's better than nothing.

Make "export to .mat" a default setting

Is there any reason this isn't on by default? It doesn't get the in the way of those who don't want to use it. For those who do want to use it, it would be very much appreciated if it were on by default, so we can download all of our matches to analyse. Thank you.
