I also think this is legitimate. There are other offensive actions in the game like putting a bottle on any tile in the wheel and making all opponents draw a X card. So its clearly a game designed with some level of interaction with the opponents plan in mind.

Ink is my favourite game. Does anyone have any recommendations for games with similar features? I think the closest one I know is Nova Luna. I’d say that Azul requires same type of thinking while playing. Friend if mine told me recently that she finds Harmonies having similar characteristics too. When they don't glitch - move an edge tile and place a coloured square as they can open up areas otherwise blocked in. BUT comes with the risk of bugs - as most times there's a issue its with these two actions.
