variant with draw twice as many green or purple cards then discard

game seems to depend very much on luck such as how good the grapes and how good the order cards are. maybe a variant where every time either purple or green cards are drawn player draws twice as many and then discards half?

Isn't there an option to have the numbers generated by drawing cards from a deck with distribution equal to number of pips? I just had a game were the first rolls were 2 2 6 7 6 7 6 6.
