Re: ELO system is a failure

As someone who has spent years discussing the merits and problems of elo, all I have to say is this. It is completely accurate, and it is completely irrelevant. Someone could try to challenge either of those statements, but here's why your challenge is ridiculous... :D 1) It does exactly what is sup...

Re: Stone Age hut placement over 10 people

If a player has to waste 2 people in order to prevent a single opponent from getting a relative low level of VP then they certainly are making the wrong move 99.99% of the time.

If a player did that in F2F game I'd certainly mention to them their insanity. :ugeek:

Re: A lack of undo features is extremely frustrating

undo is important, games like Through the Ages where a 3 hour game are ruined by a misclick aren't fun.

Games online should mirror how face to face games play, and unless it's a tournament I've never seen someone say no to fixing a move.

Re: Selecting a tool option Stone age

That's a good idea of course.

They should also fix the fact that when you roll dice or have the select option for cards the screen keeps changing and moving.

There should be a box for those rolls that never moves the screen around- so annoying.

Re: Players Quitting

Quitting a multi-player game is like giving the finger to your friends and telling them to go frak themselves. Quitting immediately makes the game more likely to be won by the person in the lead, even if (or especially if) someone else could have won. Quitting is worse than disconnecting, since that...

Re: Have option for disallowing undo in turn based

It does not, and often that mistake can either lose you the game or severely hamper play. Undo is a requirement for a game, I've never seen a face to face game where someone said 'oh no, you accidentally touched that piece now you must lose'... idea is stupid to prevent undo. There is a timer to dea...

Re: New chat & notification system

Don't like. To obtrusive. Too distracting, and yet message get missed because of short display. Silly to have red number saying how many messages, especially because in main chat there are almost always 9+ messages new. I like the idea of improving things, so good luck. :D Why not fix something like...

When someone concedes a game they should automatically lose.

In games with 2 or more players if a player concedes they should be in last place, regardless of any possible victory points/conditions.
