the solution is easy. set your trade notifications to "never". and check as often as you like for trades. sure, you may miss some trades this way, but you with "never" time out

well....there is the old adage of 10,000 hours....lol. I have played just over 100 ranked games, and have an ELO hovering in the 300's, for about a day I had the 20th highest rank, in the 400's, that was exciting. No way do I consider myself a Guru, BUT!!!! I do enjoy game theory, and I like to lear...

ive never run into "king making" ive got lots of friends, but thats just so I can readily pull good players with high karma for a quick game. and we all beat the holy heck out of each other....nobody has cheated with me so far. and the higher your ELO, the more you get the robber. don't ta...

reputation and ELO.

takes forever to, say, get an ELO over 300. So a player with a high EOL does not want to play with an apprentice, or an average, and risk losing all their ELO to a bad game.

I find it very helpful to ask the question at the beginning of each game.... Friendly Robber, YES or NO and majority rules this way everyone knows upfront if there is a friendly robber in the game. I think the three points robber limit is dumb. We are playing to win, right? and what's the point....after three points, the robber is all over the place. I a friendly " house rule" that has not place in serious play.... like...a no Checkmate rule in chess....until 5 moves have been made.....
