Re: Why are people conceding so much this arena season

I’m not in the chess community, but I’m guessing competitive players aren’t calling for banning the queen. Yet pretty much every—if not literally every—top Wingspan player thinks certain birds are so overpowered that they shouldn’t be included in serious competition. A strange analogy, indeed.

Include all of the cards and then we would see who is really a “Wingspan God”.
It would be the same people.

You don’t choose your favorite cards; they choose you.

Re: Why are people conceding so much this arena season

I appreciate when a person in a clearly losing position saves me from having to mash more buttons to get the inevitable win. Frees up my time for the next game or for something else. YMMV, and that's fine, but it doesn't reduce the experience for everyone.

Re: Spotted Towhee needs to join the powerful bird cards.

Is there a more frustrating card to play against? In my opinion it’s way stronger than the one food crows. Wheat is one of the most useful foods in the game … At least the crows you have to give up an egg. Giving up an egg most of the game is fine. You’re basically never playing crow in the forest....

Re: Here you go Archisian (air sando into full tuck)

Can I ask what an 'air sando' is? I tried googling but didn't find an answer. Thanks! Haha sorry. Might be a term only used in the tourney discord. It’s where you don’t use your grassland for eggs. Basically your turns alternate between forest and wetland, and your grassland stays (mostly) empty. A...

Here you go Archisian (air sando into full tuck)

Intended to be an air sando. Phoebe turned it into full tuck.

Re: Discussion: least favourite bonus cards

“Least favorite” and “worst” might yield different answers. Worst I don’t see anything topping (bottoming?) visionary leader, though I understand the shoutouts to bird feeder and breeding manager. Rarely is drawing to hit visionary going to beat another action, and it never helps you with EOR (in ba...
