Seems fine to me? You play one card a turn and that is a card. It does make having it be that close easier to combo into multiple attempts but that's just the game. Do give an example and we'll see if the UI is messed up on the replay. Then you can report it in the correct place if there is a bug.

We just sent it. With Ostara spamming search we were able to find 10 Molotovs and that was pretty helpful.

I kind of thought it would be DOA as a mechanic. Drafting is helpful for defending from overspeeders getting away, and a little extra help on straights. Both expansions only came with "Advanced upgrade" cards. With at least that option on for garage and both expansions checked you will have all relevant cards.

What would be proper etiquette of the personal notes for turn-based games? Rules say no looking in the discard so that would feel wrong to put in the notes even if the game is extended beyond what was expected. That's the only limit on memory I can find in the rules.
