I recently became aware that some games on BGA, like Wingspan, had their developers or the volunteer workers on here contact, and get approval, from the game publisher to rebalance the game (in Wingspan, to ban four OP cards / birds). So for those who feel strongly this game T Mars needs rebalancing...

I reread more closely the linked threads, the publisher apparently did indeed approve the changes. I am still not clear - has the publisher of Wingspan (Steigmeier games?) published or notified the game community that the 'powerful birds' cards need to be removed for a more balanced game? Many, many other games here on BGA (including, T Mars, where Frank Jones and I often post) have miles of ream...

Suggestion for the forum mods:

A sticky post at the top (right below the forum moderation sticky) that reads simply"

"Nothing can be implemented on BGA that has not been approved officially for the game by the game publisher".

I prefer 2p, at other player counts I lose interest. Of course to each their own. Happy to play 2p sometime.

Well played original poster (OP). I think I remember something about the human genome being mapped including game-fying the process online on the internet. Imagine if we could cure cancer by game-fying it so folks like OP could fine tune permutation brute force the cure.

I am not a mod or anything, but in order game forums, bugs and suggestions are suggested to be submitted via the bugs forums, not these 'game related' forums. Hope this helps, if it doesn't feel free to deleted this (mods).

I'm extremely excited about the Steam port! I spend way more time on Steam than I do on BGA (plus, being able to play 'solo' against computer-controlled opponents will be great; not to mention the ease of doing multiplayer—either hotseat or online with friends—will be really nice too).
